Inventor David Pobran of Calgary, Alberta spent decades as a soft tissue chiropractor watching people struggle to find affordable, practical tools to stay active and mobile. He saw firsthand how expensive and cumbersome most fitness and wellness equipment was — leaving everyday people without the tools they needed to move and feel better.
Inspired by years of hands-on experience and a passion for empowering people to take control of their own wellbeing, David set out to create something different: a single, versatile tool that could do the work of many, while being small enough to take anywhere.
Dr. David's Sling is made from high-quality seatbelt webbing with reinforced RIPSTOP loops and a cushioned anchor. It installs over a door hinge or wraps around any secure structure in seconds — ready for body-weight exercises, resistance work, flexibility training, movement support, and even safe animal handling. Designed, Handcrafted, and Tested in the USA and Canada.

It’s surprising how much our bodies need proper stretching and strengthening until you start using something that truly supports it.”

My son, now a retired UPS driver, first brought my attention to Dr. Pobran, and his methods using his BACKMASTER invention, an earlier variation of his Sling. I was out of trouble very quickly, and I still use it regularly to help keep my mobility maximized.”
“I am now retired from my professional years as a teacher, and I can fully enjoy working outside on my property — I did not think this would be even possible, at one time. ★★★★★“This sling is amazing. I use mine regularly in my garage, I rotate what I do, as I use it for exercises and stretching. My 15 year old grandson also uses it for strength building. Great product and highly recommend. ”
★★★★★“In early February 2026 I was very concerned about my low back and how it was restricting me. I had a total of 6 cortisone shots, but the pain kept returning. An ablation was scheduled. My children had to come to my home to help get me out of bed and to the doctor. I had another cortisone shot and found relief. I spoke with my neighbor friend, Dr. David in the parking lot about my dilemma when he saw me painfully exiting my car. He suggested I try his Sling in a very specific manner, 4 times a day, for 20 seconds. He called it the ‘Soaring Downward Dog’. I bought one and have been using it as he suggested. As of the end of May, I am doing much better and will be able to walk down the aisle at my upcoming grand daughter’s wedding in July. His Sling and method has made a big change in my world for the better. I have canceled my ablation appointment. ”
★★★★★“I travel all over North America and dozens of hotel stays. Dr. David's sling is always in my carry-on and os my "go to" for a quick hotel room workout and keeping my posture and core strength in check. ”
